A Mission of Protection
The GeoSentinel Foundation funds lifesaving projects worldwide that improve infectious disease diagnostics, treatment, mitigation and containment.
Empowering Research
The Foundation enables groundbreaking research and discoveries, including the work of 68 GeoSentinel Network clinics in 28 countries. Through this network, some of the world’s most talented scientists share information, track emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, and revolutionize diagnostic tests and treatments.
Just in Time
Enabled by generous donations, much of our first-year work focused on the COVID-19 pandemic. Projects started in March 2020 in New York and quickly evolved to have global implications. Many projects are ongoing and have already generated encouraging results.
Testing new therapeutics for frontline clinicians
Developing a finger-stick test for severity of infection
Studying COVID-19’s impact on pregnant women and newborns in developing countries
